Black shower curtains can be very interesting to have. Midnight black can give a closed feeling so that when you are in the shower you feel secure and private. This is how most of us like to feel while we are taking a shower or a bath. Jet black is as dark as you will get when colors are involved. Simple panels would also do great depending on your taste. Charcoal colored curtains absorb light and can bring out the shine of your sinks and marble tiles. It also brings out the lighting and makes you look great in front of your mirror. Dark colors can be very classy and mystic. Many find this color intimidating and very elegant. Although bold can be beautiful it is more suitable for singles and couples. If you have a family with children you might want to choose friendlier more cheery colors.
The only downside to having black shower curtains is that they are harder to maintain if you shower regularly. If you splash soap, shampoo or hair conditioner it will stand out making your curtains appear dirty. If you like to bathe and you leave your curtain lining inside the tub you will have a chalky white line of residue across the entire lower bottom. These are things you might want to consider before buying black. Black is stunning if you don’t mind rinsing them off after every shower.
