Italians are known to offer some of the worlds best quality products including fabrics. This is made from cotton and silk yarn and also called the cotton-silk blend. Curtains made from this are a lot cheaper than all silk because 40% of it is hand spun cotton and 60% of it is silk. This should be very satisfying for the price difference. It will still offer you the stunning look of silk that many adore.
If your only option is faux silk then it will be the perfect imitation of real silk. This is made from 100% polyester and surely looks and feels like silk. It also has the same shimmering effect as dupioni silk. Faux silk will give you the same look as any pure silk curtain and only you have to know that it’s not real. If you are looking for silk curtains then be very careful that you don’t get fooled. You don’t want to pay for real silk and get faux, or cotton silk blend. Familiarize yourself with silk before you buy it or just make a purchase from somewhere you trust.
